Ukulele Tuner

Like many instruments, there are a number of non-standard tunings. This article covers the common, standard way (low C).
Hard Way
The hard way to tune your instrument is by listening to the correct pitch and tuning your instrument to that. For details see tuning methods.

Easy Way
The easy way to tune your instrument is by using frequency analysis software which tells you if your instrument is out of tune. One such software package is Audio Tuner.
- If you have a microphone on your PC, install Audio Tuner.
- If you have Windows Mobile or a Pocket PC, install Audio Tuner Mobile.
- If you have a Java enabled handset such as Nokia, install Audio Tuner Mobile Java.
- If you have a BlackBerry, install Audio Tuner BlackBerry.
This software listens to you play your ukulele, and tells you if it is out of tune.
