Quickstart

  • Cradle your mobile device i.e. connect it to the computer
  • Download the software
  • Run the software
  • ActiveSync should popup and ask if you'd like to install "Supernifty's Audio Tuner"
  • The software is installed to the mobile.
  • Go to your mobile device and locate Audio Tuner under Start->Programs
  • Audio Tuner presents you with Instrument, Note, and a black box showing the frequency spectrum.
  • Select the instrument you wish to tune, then the note you wish to tune to
  • Play your instrument into your mobile device. Note the signal strength to ensure the software can hear your instrument.
  • You should get a red peak. If the peak is to the left of the green line, your instrument is flat (too low). If the peak is to the right of the green line, your instrument is sharp (too high). Adjust your instrument until the red peak lines up with the green line.

  • Click "Install Audio Tuner for your Windows Mobile"
  • Run the setup program
  • ActiveSync should popup and ask if you'd like to install "Supernifty's Audio Tuner"
  • The software is installed to the mobile.
  • Go to your mobile device and locate Audio Tuner under Start->Programs
  • Audio Tuner presents you with Instrument, Note, and a black box showing the frequency spectrum.
  • Select the instrument you wish to tune, then the note you wish to tune to
  • Play your instrument into your mobile device. Note the signal strength to ensure the software can hear your instrument.
